Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty, also known as a tummy tuck, is a surgical procedure that removes the excess skin and tightens the muscles of the abdomen. Factors such as multiple pregnancies, genetics, and substantial weight loss can contribute to the development of loose skin, fat deposits, and stretch marks in the abdominal region. A tummy tuck helps give the stomach a flat, firm appearance. The scarring for an abdominoplasty is hip to hip in the bikini area (much like an extended c-section scar) and around the belly button.
