Botox Cosmetic (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is approved by the FDA for the treatment of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the eyebrows in people ages 18-65. It also can be used to treat forehead lines and crow’s feet. Botox injections relax the facial muscles, resulting in a smoother appearance for the skin above. Most clients see results in about three days, and maximum results in about two weeks. The effects of Botox usually last for approximately 3-4 months after each treatment.
